Bird flu

Hi,

I've just created a new blog the other day. It's regarding bird flu. I'll be posting many relevant articles and resources there.

Bird flu isn't a great threat yet, but with just a little slopyness it could become a major hasard!

It's nice when all falls into place. I am a bit sick, but everything else went so well today (knok on wood) that I forgot all about it. So I thought: a great way for when you're feeling down is to remember a time when you were having sooo much fun and look on the world through those eyes. You'll instantly feel better. Say "to h*ll with it" and move on.

A funny joke I just read

A professor at a southern university was giving a lecture of the supernatural. To get a feel for his audience, he asks, "How many people here believe in ghosts?"

About 90 students raise their hands."Well, that's a good start. Out of those of you who believe in ghosts, do any of you think you have seen a ghost?"

About 40 students raise their hands."That's really good. I'm really glad you take this seriously. Has anyone here ever talked to a ghost?"

About 15 students raise their hand."Has anyone here ever touched a ghost?"This time, 3 students raise their hands."That's fantastic. Now let me ask you one question further: Have any of you ever made love to a ghost?"

Way in the back, only Bubba raises his hand.The professor takes off his glasses, and says "Son, all the years I've been giving this lecture, no one has ever claimed to have made love to a ghost. You've got to come up here and tell us about your experience."

The big redneck student replied with a nod and a grin, and began to make his way up to the podium.When he reached the front of the room, the professor asks, "So, Bubba, tell us what it's like to have sex with a ghost?"

Bubba replied, "Ghost? Oh: from way back thar I thought you said goats."

My first thought

No one will ever want YOU to succeed. Only YOU can really want YOU to succeed, so don' listen to others say: "Oh, you can't do that", "Are you sure you want to take that risk?"... They see the possibility of you getting what they want, but don't have the guts to take it. Unless it's a very good friend or family (and even then listen to YOUR intuition), don't take negative advice from people.

JUST DO IT!
